Pastor Svyatoslav Mayboroda, with his wife and three kids have been serving God in the Far-East of Russia for over 20 years now. They moved from Ukraine to Khabarovsk city. They have a small church there with about 25 members. His two sons have been a huge blessing in helping their dad with his ministry there. Both of his sons are now back in Ukraine, his oldest son is now married and lives there with his wife, and the younger one is in college there.
Their ministry is not just in the small church in Khabarovsk city, but also in orphanages in the Khabarovsk region. There are about 15 orphanages in this region of Russia. They usually do some sort of Christmas program in these orphanages, with a nativity play, Christmas songs, and of course presents for the kids.
Pastor Svyatoslav also travels to small villages to spread the gospel. Most villages don’t have protestant churches, but the ones that do, usually only have a few members. During the summers, they go to these villages with a team to conduct week long kids camps. That also has been going on for about 15 years.
O4C has had the privilege to team up with these inspired individuals and serve together in these kids camps and orphanage crusades.
