In 2014 we had a Christmas trip to the city of Khabarovsk in the far east. During our stay there, we visited fifteen orphanages in Khabarovsk and its surrounding area, as well as two villages secluded far away from the city. These villages are very hard to get to. To get to the first village, we had a long 6 hour drive through frozen swamps and we drove on the frozen rivers!

As you can see in the pictures, we have a very small church house which they call the House of Prayer. It is located in a village called Pobeda(Victory). We want to remodel it inside, outside, change out the windows and roof. We anticipate the cost of this remodel project to be around $12,000 UDS. This project will take effect as soon as we have sufficient funds.
